Dayang Bunting is a legend filled attractions. The island is about 20km from Kuah town has a population of medium on the uninhabited parts of the island. Tasik Dayang Bunting is a unique freshwater lake which located in Dayang Bunting Island and it is near the island of Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. The area of the lake is about the size of Complex Stadium Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. From a distance, the lake is green with a background of high vertical limestone hill.

Dayang Bunting as it is located on the beach where it is about 500 meters from the seafront. So the water is not mixed with the salty sea water. A jetty was built at the edge of the beach and staircases built to facilitate tourists to the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden. At the edge of the lake has built a floating platform of rubber and plastic, with stalls selling souvenirs, foot pedal boats, kayaks, life jackets and others.

Tourists can also play with the fish catfish in the pond which a kind of therapy for people with numbness and leg aches. Some toilets and proper endowment has been built for the convenience of visitors. Tourists are advised to bathe in the lake with jacket. The depth of this lake is about 10 meters and do not jump arbitrarily.
